Thank you. 😊😊😊
I have been using Brick House Bones videos on you tube with Dr. Lisa Moore, DPT: osteoporosis programs.
I also enjoy chair yoga and daily walks. Best wishes and good health.
Hi @kars
You must have been given a lists of dos and don'ts for movements following your surgeries. It's important to adhere to them.
Both Carol Michaels and Margaret Martin are physical therapists that specialize in exercises for osteoporosis.
There are a number of their exercise videos posted on YouTube and you can buy Carol Michaels DVDs if you prefer.
Dr Loren Fishman also has a Yoga Routine which builds bone denisty, "12 Poses vs Osteoporosis" on YouTube which @pcb mentioned.
If you can walk regularly it's beneficial.
If you can manage a rebounder, Earth and Owl rebounding has many adaptive videos for seniors on You Tube.
Some rebounders come with handles for holding.
Happy Exercising!
Dr. Sherie Betz of s a physical therapist that specializes in osteoporosis and has some wonderful exercise videos on YouTube Tube and her own website too.
I have been doing Wellen osteo guided exercise program. It's a 12 week program - 3 days/week, 30 minutes per day. Focuses on balance and strength (core/leg/back). It starts you where you are and recognizes what equipment you have available. You also have the option of making any exercise easier or harder, which is great. It was a free perk under my Medicare medigap plan with UnitedHealthcare, otherwise only $5/month. I supplement with hiking and some cardio.
Hmmmm something to Also consider. Thank you 😊
I have had several responses from people and am going to look into your response also. Thanks
This showed up in my email from the Bone Health & Osteoporosis Foundation. Might be a great free resource.
