What brand of Nebulizer components are you using?

Hello Friends, I tried a search on this topic but did not find an answer.
Specifically, if you use a sterilizer (mine is Bololo), what brand and source of nebulizer parts do you use that do not warp? I appreciate any help you can provide.

@marmee26 When you buy nebulizer cups, make sure you are getting "reuseable" ones, and not the disposables, which are cheaper and meant to be used once (or for a day or 2 by a single user) and thrown away. One time (I learned my lesson) I purchased some pre-packaged no-name ones online but not from a medical supply. They were labeled as reuseable, but clearly were not - the first time I boiled them, they warped. I put them in the closet to use for my grandsons when they sleep over & remember the meds but forget the cup.

The Pari Sprint is the nebulizer cup. Is it the Pari LC Sprint neb cup?
What compressor, brand name, and type of tubing are you using with the Pari Sprint?
I have the Ombra compressor that came with the Aeroeclipse XL and the wing tip tubing, I bought all from the NJH pharmacy before heading home from my NJH visit.
I have been using Save Rite Medical for the Aeroeclipse XL and wing tip tubing. It appears the equipment retail sellers do not carry all the different brands of neb cups etc. Did you find a source with a best price for either or?
Glad you found your way to getting a good sputum sample. Now it's just that waiting period to get the results. I sent another sputum sample in the first of March so I'm on a wait period also. I am hoping for another low load MAI count report, or better yet, 'you've cleared it out'....without med's..... wishful thinking.

@blm1007blm1007 I have the Ombra compressor. I use both Aeroeclipse XL and Pari LC Sprint nebulizer cups with the Ombra compressor. The Pari nebulizer cups come with their own wing tip tubing, but I have been using the Pari cup with the Aeroeclipse tubing as I started with the Aeroeclipse cups, and will still use if I am short on time and decide to do my Aerobika while I nebulize, which is a nice perk of the Aeroeclipse. Generally I do my Aerobika separately from nebulizing. I replace the tubing each month so will eventually use the Pari tubing, it looks similar to the Aeroeclipse tubing and should work interchangeably. Yes, again, I use the Pari LC Sprint nebulizer cups. I also ordered my supplies at Save Rite Medical. I confess I didn’t do too much (if any) shopping around as I was in the thick of all the “start up” and just followed suggestions from this group on what and where to buy. Good luck with the sputum testing!

Over many years and nebulizers, I have found all of tubing to be interchangeable - the only difference being "winged" tips on some and round on others.

Yes, read carefully and always buy the reusable neb cups. As posted above, have never had any problems with pari ones. They work with any compressor. I compare prices including postage when I need new cups and just buy what is reasonable. Sometimes I just get them at local pharmacy for convenience when pricing is similar. Pricing can be fairly dynamic.

Whether you boil or use a baby bottle sterilizer, the Aeroclipse XL BAN nebulizer or the Pari Sprint LC nebulizer are reusable and can be boiled. I prefer the Aeroclipse myself.

How is the Aeroclipse different from the Pari?

The Aeroclipse has a setting that can change from "breath actuated" mode to "non-actuated" meaning the nebulizer can produce aerosol continuously or only when you take a breath which makes for less aerosol wasted to the air and more to your lungs. Also the Aeroclipse can be used with the Aerobika when nebulizing.
The Pari is just a nebulizer with a flimsy little flap on the mouthpiece that sort of makes it "breath-actuated" and it cannot be used with the Aerobika.

Pari Sprint cups work well for me. I did not like the Aeroclipse. It is worth the investment to try both and see which you prefer.

Hi, I'm looking into new brands of compressors since Phillips are unavailable. People have suggested Ombra with the aeroclipse. I'm wondering if you are able to use a mask with an aeroclipse?

Thank you
