I read this yesterday for the 1st time. I’m coming from the perspective of someone living with stage 4 appendix cancer that isn’t curable and will kill me at some stage unknown, without medical research advances.

People have different priorities and I do NOT want to judge what’s important to others. I just don’t relate. This is how I feel. I accept and respect that it is not how everyone feels.

I think it's a great idea. My ex kept saying that I can't get any uglier, so this is a necessity for me. I'm scheduled for a lower face lift and eye lift in April. I have researched my doctor and I feel comfortable with him. In fact I underwent a hair restoration with him 9 months ago. The results are looking good, and look better every week. My surgeon says after my procedures I will look ten years younger. Maybe that will help me look better than the competition. I think it's worth it. I'll keep y'all posted.

I’ve had 2 blepharoplasties, years apart. I don’t regret them at all. I look forward to reading about your lower face lift. That’s next for me.

Thanks for your comment celia16 I'll keep yall posted.
I'm not going to "chicken out" . If I can make it through hair transplants, the face lift should be easy.

I will have lower face lift and neck lift. Not sure what it’s called, but tightening the loose skin on neck. It’s from my significant weight loss.

I am 71, but there is no one surgeon in Canada that I would trust. ( I have researched for 2 years). I do have a few medical issues that would not interfere with a facelift, but have severe self esteem issues and feel it would help. But going to US for this is way out of any thing I could pay. Who else has thi problem?

Have you tried using Ayurvedic products - I use these and they are wonderful. All natural and they have tightened my skin up with no wrinkles showing. I also had a significant weight loss and my neck is tight also. Personally, I won't have surgery - I use all natural products. The website is https://theayurvedaexperience.com

I use products, but they are not sufficient to remedy my problem. I’m glad that works for some. A friend of mine had sine type of needling to address a double chin and had very good results.

I had a facelift just a few months shy of 70. I'm at about my one year mark. I'm very happy with my decision and the results. It was a lower face lift. Some surgeons are doing "deep plane" facelifts which I didn't opt for - it's more invasive. Ultimately, it's a personal choice, just make sure you have a good surgeon. Good luck with your decision. If it's what you want, go for it.

How was your recovery time? And, what type of anesthesia did you have?
