Camzyos side effect of itchiness?

Has anyone experienced itchiness after starting Camzyos? I have. I started Camzyos one week ago on a Monday. On Thursday, I had itchiness around most of my body and had to call my cardiologist to see if Zyrtec was contraindicated with Camzyos. Cardiologist's nurse told me Camzyos has not been linked to itchiness, but my research showed it has been. I took a Zyrtec and the itching stopped. But I had itchiness again this morning (a few days later) and took a Zyrtec.

Actually, I have had some itching, but it hasn’t been a big deal. I honestly had not connected it to Camzyos. I’ve been on it since 12/21.

I'm on Mavacamten and have been for several months. I do get itching spells ever so often. I know it's not what your taking but I understand they are very similar drugs.

I’ve been itching like mad after taking camzyos at night. Makes me crazy and I thought it was winter itch. The dispensing pharmacist said that in the camzyos monograph, itching may be a side effect. Now I know I’m not the only one!

I left out of my initial post about itching that I have been itching like mad too. Every day. I switched from Zyrtech to Allegra once daily and I'm going to see an allergist at the end of the week. But if it is from the Camzyos I might have to have the heart-wall-shaving/cutting surgery.

I am also retaining water. I have to watch that closely because of Camzyos' risk of causing heart failure--water retention is one symptom of heart failure, though it's not necessarily from that.

Make sure to talk to you camzyos pharmacist before taking any supplement's or new medicine!
I started taking turmeric and found out that interacts with camzyos.
So i stopped all supplements.
Although im doing good on camzyos in still scheduled for septal myectomy
I feel great but i still have a provoked obstruction on my gradient this prevents me from getting after it on my work outs!

There’s something like 364 over-the-counter non-prescription things that CAMZYOS interacts with I haven’t been able to find a list of them, but the pharmacist have it in the hospital and told me that plus a lot of prescription meds I guess is that it’s interacting with something that you’re taking.

I never saw the list and didnt know that many things interacted with camzyos
But as soon as they told me turneric was one i quit taking it and green lipped muscle!
I was taking those supplements to help with joint pain and arthritis.

Thanks for sharing

is there any strategy that your doctor recommends for the itching? I've been itching like mad too. I saw my dermatologist for something else yesterday and he said I could take allegra or zyrtec literally every day for years to stop the itching. And I'm seeing the allergist tomorrow. I'm afraid of not taking the Camzyos for a few days to see if the itching stops. Afraid for two reasons: getting HOCM symptoms back (and finding out that I might just have to have open heart surgery), and also all of the rules the Bristol Myers Squibb has, including that every month you are taking Camzyos, they won't ship it to you for the next month until you have 7 or less pills left. Crazy. But the itching may be better than having someone shave my heart walls. I don't know.

I haven’t discussed the itching with my doctor. Just want to deal with it myself. I take an over the counter antihistamine when it’s so bad that I can’t sleep. Works great because I fall asleep and am impervious to the itch.
I too don’t want to stop the Camzyos to see whether it’s the culprit. The delivery to me is monthly and no one ever asks me how many tablets I have left.
Best not to stop it without the cardiologist’s permission. Please let us know what the allergist says. All the best.
