Does anyone have any experience with MEIBO (PF) drops for dry eyes?
I've tried many suggestions from several ophthalmologists for my dry eyes, which started after Cataract surgery.
My current ophthalmologist at Mayo Clinic has suggested Meibo drops. She sent the Rx to BlinkRX, and with my insurance, it's $627!

@celia16 I will definitely be checking that as well. Thanks for mentioning that!!
I just ordered it $20. I’ll take it to my Dr. once it arrives and confirm ingredients are the same as Miebo.
I have contacted the pharmacy on their web page, and specifically put MEIBO in their search section, but the messager replies it does not have the product in their inventory. Is there a different way to contact them or enter the information. Can you reach them by phone.
It’s not called Miebo in Europe. It’s EvoTears.
There is only one ingredient: perfluorohexyloctane.
Thank you for your reply. I googled Meibo and Evotears and the search to show both products have the same ingredients. Since you order and use the product do they have the same identicle amounts of each active ingredient in both products. I do have dry eye issues but have never been prescribed a prescription drug for dry eye. I have been using Refresh drops but the dry eye relief doesn’t last very long. I’m kind of prescribing my own medication but I can’t see how it can be harmful. The difference in price between the two brands is unbelievable. Almost to go to be true. How long have you been using Evotears. Have you had any problems with the product at all.
Thank you.
There is only one ingredient (perfluorohexyloctane), nothing else. Miebo and EvoTears are identical. EvoTears entered the European market ten years ago. It’s not a prescription product there.
I was able to get my first bottle of Miebo for free with the Miebo coupon card, but after that it was going to be $839 per month! So I ordered EvoTears from Germany and just started using it. So far neither of them have made a difference in my dry eyes, but I’ve read it can take a couple of months to have an effect.
My understanding is it can take two weeks or more, and even up to two months before you notice improvement. How many drops each day are you using.
I ordered a bottle of EvoTears just today. How long does it normally take to receive the drops from Germany. I’m trying to determine how many bottles each month I need to order given the number of drops I would use each day. I hope with your experience you can give me the advise I need for daily drops and monthly bottle use.
Thanks again
Steve
Are the people selling it for $800 per bottle the ones saying it takes a couple of months to see results?
It took five days to receive my order from Germany. I live in the southern US.
One bottle should last a month, but you need to follow the directions on how to dispense* it, or a huge drop will come out sideways and miss your eye. I had many land on my face at first, and I’ve been putting drops in my eyes for decades.
( * Squeeze the bottle. Turn it upside down and stop squeezing. You’ll hear an “air sucking” sound. Squeeze again to dispense a tiny drop.)
The protocol is one drop in each eye, four times/day. No more, no less.
