Has anyone used Trelegy?
I have been on Advair HFA for a long time, over 10 years. My COPD per tests today is stable, but I have wondered if I should switch to something different. I did not know the doctor I saw today but I had had a PFT test, shared my thoughts about being so long on Advair & she right off the bat suggested Trelogy. A once a day discus inhaler, bye bye to Advair & Incruse! Now that I have switched, I am anxious, primarily because I didn't get to discuss this with her. OR my doctor! I am going to try to contact him tomorrow but meanwhile would like to hear from anyone re Trelogy &/or Advair.

Trelegy has been a life saver for me. It contains 3 medications, so its much easier than using 3 inhalers. It also makes me feel better. I pray everyone finds the right inhaler that helps you feel better.
I have used trilogy for 10 years now and it works very well for me. My insurance covers it so my monthly cost is about $50 until I reach my donut hole and then it jumps to about $180 for the balance of the year, when it comes to my breathing, I guess I just need to be able to breathe whatever it takes.
For me trilogy has been the best. I can feel it when I don’t use it and when I do, I can breathe. I am currently at 5000 feet above sea level so breathing is very difficult and I have to use a rescue inhaler during the day even with trilogy, but I can tell right away when I don’t use the trilogy that I can’t breathe at all
I currently use Trelegy and have for about 8 or 10 months. I use oxygen 24/7 now. I used to be able to get by without it when watching TV or at the computer or anything where I was sitting still. I used to use Combivent Respimat as my primary inhaler and now I use it as a secondary inhaler. I think I like the Combivent better. I have been getting the Trelegy for free but that ends at the end of this year. I think I will go back to Combivent as my primary inhaler.
I have used it for two years. It's very helpful. I have bronchitis, asthma, and COPD.
I was on Advair twice a day for quite a while. I have been on Trelegy now for about three years. I’m doing better on it.
Yes, Trelegy is very expensive. It’s still quite a bit with goodrx
My insurance stopped paying for Breztri on Jan 1. Was on that twice a day for 5 years.
My awesome pulmonologist prescribed Trelegy. It’s been great. Very important to rinse very well, like any of the Copd inhalers. I like that it’s once a day. I feel very good with it. I also take Roflumilast 500 mcg once per day.
I have emphysema. I had chronic bronchitis but did a clinical trial at Temple Lung in Philly and I got the real deal treatment. So bye bye Bronchitis.
Good breathing people.
And God bless.
I have used trelegy for the past almost 10 years. I cannot get out of bed without inhaling my trlegy first and foremost every day. I live in high altitude now so I need a rescue inhaler during the day but trelegy is my life saver.
Trelegy is expensive but go to the drug company website. After you spend a certain amount on drugs, they will send you Trelegy for free. I think it's $800 out of pocket for drugs and then apply for the assistance. It's been great for me.
Also, there is a program Patient Advocate Foundation that has opened a fund for COPD. They allow $1800 a year for COPD meds. Also helpful. Check these both out to see if you qualify.
