Has anyone heard of or tried a pill treatment called Vita Soothe Pro? Nerve Savior?

Hello, @scain

Welcome to the Forum!

It's a tricky business, sorting out the scams from the legitimate sites. I remember finding it dizzying myself when I was first diagnosed in the summer of '02. This Forum, in addition to the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy, has proven itself to be a great helpmate.

I found that it took me about six months to become streetwise, curious yet skeptical when shown a "fix" that has the aroma of something too good to be true. There's no easy litmus test.

My best advice to anyone is probably to think twice – maybe ten times – before getting a credit card out. 🙂

My very best to you!
Ray (@ray666)

I am new to this forum although I have been suffering with peripheral neuropathy for 2 years (none diabetic). Like most sufferers I have searched endlessly to find supplements that provide some relief and a possible cure. My search has proved how impossible this quest is and so expensive due to misleading adverts and down right scams. What would be really helpful if members posted their experiences with supplements they’ve tried , which were useless/helpful or obvious scams. I am sure there must be some helpful supplements out there and we would all benefit if these were posted on this forum.

I know well this burning/freezing sensation. My doctor started me on Gabapentin (300mg) and iron supplements. Better but still a major issue . They I read about NA R-Alpha Lipoic Acid then discussed it with my Doctor, we agreed it was worth a try. After 2 months it’s amazing. Sleeping all night, no more burning/freezing in bed. The neuropathy is still there. My feet start the burning after a long drive, so I take my shoes and socks off. My diet is WHOLE FOODS. I hope this helps, Mike

I have just listened to a very, very long advert for “Nerve Freedom” capsules
Is this just another scam product. Anyone out there tried it?
I’ve already got a cupboard full of pills that have proved to be a waste of time.

The disclaimer at the bottom of their website says it all to me... run Forrest run.

I am glad that it is helping if only somewhat. What continues to worry me is that you must have researched it on your own and had to mention it to your doctor. Was it by any chance a neurologist or just a GP? Susan

John's comment says it all. Don't add another worthless pill to your cupboard.

From the start, I accepted having neuropathy and have been on gabapentin & lyrica for seizures, neither of which were effective for my seizures or neuropathy. I only have numbness and several neuropathy complications now but it is what it is. I never did chase rainbows and after 40 years of neuropathy, I don't intend to start now. There are new cure's popping up practically every day. Try them if you want but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I am just joining this chat and also have foot neuropathy....I was diagnosed with Diabetes 2 18 mos. ago and I waited months to see a endocrinologist thinking that he would be able to help out with this problem. Basically, have little feeling on the soles of my feet and my left foot and ankle can sometimes be swollen. My primary doctor was worried about blood clots but ultrasounds showed nothing. Of course, I never heard from her again.....I have very little faith in my primary doctors. The endocrinologist asked me to take off a shoe and rubbed the outer edge of my foot with something and said that the neuropathy isn't diabetes related. I asked him who should I see and he said a neurologist for an overall workup. That was in the fall and I called the neurologist for an appt. and the first available was March so I am waiting for that.
Hopefully, they might have an answer. I have read these chats and it appears that there are a lot of scams going on but I haven't had any experience so far but of course, I haven't delved into this problem much. Just waiting for my appointment. Was your neuropathy diagnosed by a neurologist? Any wisdom would be appreciated as I am a novice on this subject. Thanks

@scain ....Hopefully my experience dealing in the past with same issues will help you..
-a neurologist will do zillion of tests, the most important is a large nerve electrical conduction test-if positive -the neuro will tell you there's no treatment for peripheral neuropathy and put you on Gababentin...a neuro is not doing test for small fiber neuropathy...
-a podiatrist will do a skin biopsy for small fiber neuropathy ( SFN)-if positive-the podiatrist will tell you there's no treatment and put you on Gababentin...or propose to put you on TEENS unit...
After going thru all these for three years and due to my excruciating symptoms- I was desperate and almost suicidal...but God providence guided me to a clinical pain institute doing Sanexas treatment ( google it) and B12 shot straight into my feet..it turned out my peripheral nerves were starving for B12 which was prevented by metformin to be absorbed....of course my primary not even wanted to hear about it although my B12 in system was double level.
After just three month and twice /week treatment with Sanexas (stopped metformin and replace it with jardiance ) and some other life style changing -I'm completely healed...
Hope this help!

I agree. Total scam. I have been asking for a refund for over 2 months. All they tell me is that they are sending me something else “at no charge”. All I want is a refund. Period! No response. Guess if they don’t respond long enough, my “trial period” will expire. All this item did was shock me. Don’t have anything to do with this company.

Has anyone heard of Nerve Forte to help with the pain and numbness of neuropathy? How about MMP13 enzyme that is suppose to be the root cause of neuropathy? Can't get a good nights rest due to itching and stabbing pains in feet. I have a pair of reflexology shoes that I wear in the evenings and they seem to help some. I am open to suggestions for help. Thank you, Laura Henderson

I purchased Nerve Forte. After 2 months of following the bottle instructions, I found no improvement, no relief, or no indication that this product helped me. True, the ingredients may be good for you, but as far as the improvement of neuropathy NO. Please think twice before purchasing this product.
