Does anyone in this group have SVT?
I recently had an echocardiogram with contrast and a stress test with myocardial perfusion. Before that I had a wore a heart monitor for 14 days. I have a right and left bundle branch block in my heart. I asked my doctor what the heart monitor diagnosed and he said Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). This was done by my family physician and when I asked if I should see a cardilogist he said I didn't need to. Now I just looked up SVT and wanted to talk with anyone who has this to compare symptons and what they were told by their doctor.

All Electrophysiologists are cardiologists 1st and then took extra training in to specialize in EP. There are approximately 34,000 cardiologists in the US.
There are approximately 4300 EPs in the US.
I don't believe it matters if it is called AFIB or heart arrhythmia or another fancy name. I believe that cutting caffeine and drinking water, cutting out the junk foods may very possible help and possibly eliminate need for specialists and horrible meds and treatments. .
If you feel like your going to faint, quick grab on to something or someone. If it is Brad Pitt, I would probably postpone the bathroom strain pose. And my heart would probably go faster, but a win for me. LOL Laughter does good like medicine.
