Restasis for Dry Eye
My insurance has stopped covering Restasis which is very expensive. The generic is $200 a month. Anyone have a suggestion for a substitute? I also take medication for Glaucoma and eye pressure.

I have inflammation in my eyes. I was prescribed Miebo and PrenisoLONE. My doctor switched me to Xiidra, Have to stop using it. Gives me headache and it stings my eyes real bad.
I was told to go back to Restasis.
For the Miebo eye drops, I asked the Dr. to send my prescription to Blinkrx. This is my second bottle and I don’t have 0 copay
Typo error. I have 0 copay.
Xidra really burned my eyes. Is BlinkRx good?
Yes, I have no problem with Blinkrx.
I got Xiidra through Blinkrx too! I was worried about the cost. But I got Xiidra with no copay.
Anyway, I asked them about Restasis. Unfortunately they only dispense brand new drugs.
I still ordered Restasis from Canada Drugs Direct.
Have you or anyone you know ordered from Mark Cuban’s Drug Co.? Can’t remember the name!
No, unfortunately I have not heard about Mark Cuban drug company
Thanks!
I just hope my doctor will give me a prescription to Restasis so I can order from Canada Direct. I jsigned up and sent a request to my Doctor Friday.
I have suffered with Dry Eye for years. I was unable to tolerate Xiidra (have tried it several times throughout the years and it burns my eyes) and Restasis never did a thing to help me. However, about 6 months ago, my Ophthalmologist gave me a prescription for a Generic eyedrop for Restasis, and it is amazing. These drops come in single use vials of Cyclosporine Opthalmic Emulsion, 0.5% manufactured by Allergan Sales, LLC. I put one drop in each eye morning and nighttime, and I am amazed at how much relief these drops have given me.
I use, as well - correction, though, the solution is 0.05% cyclosporine, not 0.50%. There are other cyclosporine based solutions with up to 0.10% (Vevye). Cequa is 0.09%.
