Restasis for Dry Eye

My insurance has stopped covering Restasis which is very expensive. The generic is $200 a month. Anyone have a suggestion for a substitute? I also take medication for Glaucoma and eye pressure.

Years ago I tried it for dry eyes and it not only burned it made my eyes sore and red. After a few days it was no better and beginning to affect my vision so I quit. Recently my husband had it prescribed for him and he had the same disappointing result and had to quit. I am sure not everyone has this reaction to it. Good luck.
