How valid are the PICCO measurements if both lines in same anatomical location? eg PICCO in left femoral artery and CVL in left femoral vein. Able to give meaningful numbers Thanks

Hi @lenamaria3, I thought I would start by spelling out the acronyms in your question:

PiCCO = Pulse index Continuous Cardiac Output
CVL = central venous line

Lenamaria, your question is outside my scope of expertise, knowledge or experience. Were you able to get answers from your medical team? Is a PiCCO device or central venous line being used for a loved one in critical care? Do you have concerns?
