What are your recommendations for travel nebulizer?
A few months ago there were some emails about what to take and do when traveling. Someone from the NYC support group recommended the PariTrekS portable nebulizer. I ordered it from Just Nebulizers. When I ordered this I inquired at Just Nebulizers if this could be used with an aerobika. They referred me to Pari and its spokesperson could not definitively endorse their product with an aerobika. I got the same sense that Katherine always got that they didn't want to recommend a competitor nor endorse something for fear of liability. In any case, it can operate as an efficient nebulizer with a small compressor for travel. I ordered mine with a battery. The battery (not really needed) came defective and neither Just Nebulizers or Pari would give me a refund. Pari will be sending a replacement but as mentioned, battery is really not necessary. Hope this is helpful for the travelers on our forum. Terry

I’m traveling and use my nebulizer for bronchiectasis.
Yes, you may carry on your nebulizer. As a reminder, within the US a carry-on filled with medical equipment & so labeled does not count as your allowable carry-on, nor is it subject to a baggage fee. It still must meet the requirement of fitting in the overhead compartment. Any medications may be placed in there as well, but leave your saline, albuterol, etc in the original labeled boxes or pouches and allow extra time for scrutiny at the TSA checkpoint - it may not happen - but on my last 2 flights, that bag was thoroughly torn apart & I had to explain the saline vials as they were just in a baggie.
Happy travels.
Hi Sue, My Phillips innospire go’s battery finally died. It is hard to go back to tubes. I remember someone once wrote that they were able to buy a new battery for the phillips innospire go. Do you have that information? ( I tried contacting Phillips and got nowhere.
I haven't been able to find one. I finally gave up and disposed of I in a recent closet clearing. Very sad!
The Omron NE-U100 is quite compact and would be good for travel. I use it regularly at home for Ipratropium Bromide and Albuterol Sulfate and also for Sodium Chloride Solution 7%.
How do you keep it cleaned and sterilized?
To answer your question on how I keep my Omron NE-U100 clean and sterilized: I wash the parts with dish soap and then with water and vinegar. I don't sterilize.
I like Naweti Portable Rechargeable Nebulizer
Does your Naweti nebulize Sodium Chloride?
I have used it for that, but I undertand that a jeet nebulizer is better for salt.
