Does anyone have migraine or daily persistent headache?

Posted by mikaylar @mikaylar, Dec 1 1:37pm

I have had a daily persistent headache all day/every day for 5 yr/4 mos. Doctors cannot figure it out. Have had MRIs, scans, nerve blocks, blood patches, spinal taps, you name it. Have tried 45 medicines, including migraine infusions. Will try Agovy and Nurtec again. Help! Anyone having this?

I use an autopap, I think everyone was tired of me asking for a detailed sleep study, one with the sensors on my scalp, so they have me a unit that would (supposedly?) automatically adjust to my needs? Does it help? I haven't had another dream about drowning, so, I guess yes. Am I getting more sleep, no, not usually though I'm now getting maybe 3-4 hours, always broken up into segments when I'm awake for at least an hour between. It's better than the 1-2 hours I used to only be able to manage.. in bed but driving the car, trying to fulfill my job function, etc., likely added a little to the total. The restless leg syndrome is a bit better too.

I am happy to read your situation improved. I pray it will stay that way or get even better.

I had mine for years- saw a medical diagnosis episode- and discovered it was sleep related. Had a sleep study 2007 and confirmed severe obstructed sleep apnea and central apnea! On cpap and Lovin it! Also ck out blood pressure. good luck to you!

Holy cats. I knew there were others suffering too. I am now dealing with permanent Tardive Dyskinesia (weird mouth movements similar to Tourette’s) from using Seroquel for sleep. It’s awful being a pharmaceutical guinea pig. Best of luck to you.

Spread the word about Seroquel. Since benzodiazepines have fallen out of favor, doctors and psychiatrists prescribe this antipsychotic like candy. Shame on them. Never take an antipsychotic for sleep!!!!

I have been on a Ativan for many, many years with no side effects. I need to sleep and that is the only thing that helps. Sleep deprivation is brutal and can ruin your life and your health.

3 years and 2 months for me. 24/7. 50 year history but mostly hormonal reasons. But never this bad. Always had something to take like Zomig to help but not now. The reverse. This migraine overreacts to anything. Even a tylenol will shoot pain level to 10. Am i the only one on the planet w this?

No you are not alone. This headache/dizzness for 5 year/4 mos with no resolution. I am hearing more and more headaches. Does anyone think 4 and 5G have anything to do with these headaches and dizziness?

I may be the last one on earth, but dont have a cell.

Anyone have success w Cefaly?. Bought it few years ago, returned it after reading warnings... do not fall asleep while using it, not for chronic, only episonic... Now thinking about buying now w 20% off today. Success anyone??? While im at it, anyone having good results w Qulipta?

Last question, few years back I found a site where migrainers could imput their results w drugs, suppliments, diet, etc. into a database or poll. I found this valuable and many people were participating. But I lost it or they stopped doin it. Anyone?

I lied... These are my last 2 questions.. I am fairly new to vertigo. Can anyone lead me to a source of knowledge on it? Like suppliments or drug that improves it? Nausea, bad, drink los water, homemade boiled ginger root, and ginger candy all day... hate it. How can i improve?

Been homebound for 5 years now.

I don't have them, but have had some bad headaches and taking something for the pain and using an ice pack or frozen veggies and lying down always make mine go way. Try massaging your head where your hair is too and your temples.

My husband gets relief from his Cefaly. It lessens the pain.
The migraine diary that he keeps is the Migraine Buddy.

Just returned y Cafely. It is stuck in Memphis in a distribution center that doesn't answer their phone. $412 plus $12 postage. It did nothing for me. My insurance will not cover Qulipta until I try some other injectibles so Monday my Agovy comes. I have tried Nurtec and a few others. Nothing works. I have been homebound for years also. Does anyone think it might be 4G or 5G?
