Anyone have vestibular migraine & new daily persistent headache?
I have had a daily persistent headache all day/every day for 5 yr/4 mos. Doctors cannot figure it out. Have had MRIs, scans, nerve blocks, blood patches, spinal taps, you name it. Have tried 45 medicines, including migraine infusions. Will try Agovy and Nurtec again. Help! Anyone having this?

Has anyone tried Agovy for migraine?
Anyone treating vastibular headaches and New Daily Persistent Headache? Neurologists like to call it Intractable choronic migraine with aura and without status migrainosus. I call it constant misery every day/all day.
My neurologist said I was getting rebound headaches bc I was waking up with a migraine every single day and taking imitrex and using a cold gel pack for an hour or two. At least it would improve and not last like yours.
I started the Botox protocol for migraine bc my headaches were 15+ a month and she said I was a candidate for that.
I also increased the dosage of nightly Verapamil ER for prevention that I’ve been using for decades.
I read about hypnic headaches myself and started drinking caffeine at night on my own advice. It’s what is recommended for hypnic headaches.
The headaches are getting less frequent when waking up but I’m not sure what is the reason for improvement.
Migraines can be so individual to each person and what works for one person doesn’t work for another.
The newer meds for migraines are so costly that it’s not easy to try different ones.
I have the same after having several strokes. He wants to treat with meds, but I don't want side effects. I've tried one and no more. Good luck!!
