Any tips on withdrawing from fioricet?

Where u stay to live while they detox u safely....mb a wk or so. Go online to see your areas detox ctrs.

U may have to go to a hospital for detox to wean you off the fiorecet safely.. don't try to wean yourself off. U could have seizures. Do this under close medical supervision

Yes, but with medical supervisor only. Detox is your ONLY option. This can be life threatening!!! Fioricet has 50 mg of phenobarbital in it...it's physicalladdictive and your body is dependent on this. I've worked in a detox ctr as a nurse for over 20 yrs and I know what I'm talking about!

Thank you for your honesty. I appreciate everything you have told me. I am under the care of a depression therapist and she told me to slowly cut down. I just don’t know how much to cut down daily. She also gave me anxiety meds to help. I just am afraid.

What anxiety meds did she give u . Bc benzodiazepines are also addictve...Xanax, klonopin and Valium and ativan. Don't jump from the frying pan into the fire. Benzos are more addicting than phenobarbital that's in the fioricet. PLEASE get a 2d opinion!!!!

She gave me clonazepam 0.5 mg one per day
