How are you coping if you have long term brain fog from covid?
Brain fog has been persistent since I got Covid a year ago. I have to read everything 3 or 4 times and then forget what I read like for example instructions. Is anyone else dealing with this?

When I start realizing that I am having problems with name/number recall, I have a small amount of wasabi that I get from Eden Foods: https://store.edenfoods.com/wasabi-powder-japanese-horseradish/
It seems pricey at $8 an ounce, but it lasts for weeks for me.
Wasabi has been scientifically shown to help memory. It is actual wasabi, not the fake horseradish stuff that is in Asian restaurants. It comes as a powder in 1 oz containers and you mix a small amount with a tiny amount of water to make a paste. I usually mix the paste with a salad dressing, like Marzetti’s, and put on bread with a cheese sandwich. It is hot by itself but edible with the salad dressing and cheese. For me, it does clear the “cobwebs” from the memory bank.

I have these crazy lights too. I’ve seen Optometrist, ophthalmologist, and retinologist.
Nobody finds anything, but my vision has also gotten worse.
I’m planning to see a neuro-ophthalmologist next.
I also had cataract surgery which seems to have made everything worse. I am very light sensitive as well. Feel like I’m always squinting, even in the house.
That's really interesting. I am just trying exercise and I wonder how many gallons of beet juice or beets I would have to eat to see an effect from these... Great tip about the salad dressing

I've been dealing with brain fog, among other symptoms, since having COVID in June '24. A physician, who doesn't want to "go there" re: Long COVID, has ordered blood work to check my thyroid. To date, only result is hypercalcemia. ANYONE?
