Ongoing Sarscov2 Infection has over 200 symptoms.

This is not a question. Reading the questions, most of the questions have been written about in papers, articles, etc.
This is not medical advice. This is a summary of what I have read since 2020.
Sarscov2 is a pernicious virus. It causes liver damage, kidney damage, cardiovascular damage, eye damage, hearing damage, brain damage, gut damage.
If the initial covid infection doesn’t harm humans, sarscov2 still harms humans by causing:
Strokes
Cardiac arrest
Plaque in our arteries- leading to cardiac events
Aortic aneurysms
Cancer- including blood cancers
Depression- leading to suicide
Sepsis
Maternal health problems
Fetal health problems
Kidney damage
Diabetes
If anyone needs any
Papers about any of the health issues that Covid causes, please reach out to me.
I have had long covid since Dec 22. I have been a sarscov2 nerd since Jan 2020. I still follow research. I belong to other long covid forums.
I am off work due to the brain damage from 1 case of covid. The physical stuff is hard, but losing my ability to solve complex problems is the worst part.
I had sepsis last summer, and am so glad
To be alive.

Thank you for your impassioned comment on Covid and on your experience with it. As someone with LC PEM, and having been a Research Coordinator on a Medical Campus, I seek out scientific information about Covid — LC in particular.

Some of the information I’ve found is already in comments related to this support group. I’ll send information about two valuable resources soon. I’ll send it as a comment under this topic, which you initiated.

Have you heard about or read any articles about the connection between childhood trauma and LC? Apparently in the Twin cities area there is a support group program for such people. I'd appreciate hearing about any research about that connection that you have read.

I worry about any long covid explanations that are not rooted in physiology. If the childhood trauma has damaged our dna or cells to make them more vulnerable to sarscov2, possibly. The scientists know the genes of the people who are most vulnerable to sarscov2. They figured this out back in 2021. I don’t expect there to be mass testing, unless a new variant has people dying in er waiting rooms, in schools, in their homes, etc., again. Then maybe.
I believe that sarscov2 was designed to kill human beings, with childhood trauma, or without. All of our elders are gone. My spouse’s uncle, WW2 vet, who kept a journal and carried it with him, died from Covid in his nursing home in 2020. My cousin who had breast cancer, died from Covid in April 2020. My cousin, who didn’t get vaccinated, died from the delta variant in 2021. The virus has killed most of the “greatest generation. I could go on and on about the human and societal burdens of unmitigated covid. Burdens intentionally hidden from the public, but I will stop.
There are so many things that damage our immune systems, including trauma at any age, so it’s possible. As the descendant of people who were kidnapped, put in ships and chains to cross the Atlantic to Georgia and Alabama, then enslaved, raped, beaten, etc., I know that their trauma is in my DNA. Maybe Black Americans, Native Americans, Pacific Islanders, have had worse covid outcomes due to the ancestral trauma. Someone would have to do a study to find out. 😊
I am part of a “never” Covid group. My spouse lied to me, and he gave me my one case of Covid back in Dec 22. Now, as soon as he or my son sniffle, we wear masks in the house, isolate, turn up the 5 air cleaners. So far, I have not had Covid again. Once was enough to ruin my life. Give me sepsis. Severely damage my 20 yr marriage. Lose my job. Curtail my privileged life. (Whine whine)
I am lucky to be alive, enjoying my new puppy and 6 year old dog. I am lucky to be able to drive, go to the theater, eat outside with friends, etc. Many people with LC can’t do the things I can do.
Message me anytime.

I’m sometimes overwhelmed by how much damage this horrible virus has done to so many people, what really scares me is how many people are behaving so casually about it. I have also incurred damage from covid in 2022, primarily my heart which beats too fast especially at night when I lay down. I don’t sleep well and having palpitations makes me so anxious, it’s hardly a wonder why my ability to rest is diminished. I suppose many people are just too afraid to look at the whole picture of what covid is capable of doing so they just behave like there’s nothing to worry about, some believe that it’s only seniors or disabled people who are at risk. I hear so many people say it’s just the flu or something similar but I never heard the flu leaving so much damage behind, they don’t want to take any vaccines and I understand that many people can’t because they got sick from it but that’s a different situation.

I’m sorry to hear you’re suffering so much. What about no taste or smell? I had Covid in December of 2022 and lost both of those senses. Still not back after having 6 Stellate Ganglion Block Injections. Just wondering if you have any new information on that?

I wasn’t sure where to ask my question, I’m not sure what my latest problem is caused by. I recently had a blood test and it came back with a red flag. It seems I have very high CRP levels, I tried to look up information on it and found that it could be more heart trouble or even a number of other factors. Unfortunately I won’t be able to talk to my doctor for another two weeks and I’m very worried, I usually research a lot but the information is so varied. I’m hoping someone has some information on this, I would sincerely appreciate it, thank you.🙏

Hi @frouke, I hate waiting for upcoming appointments also. It can be stressful and cause more worry. I hope this information can explain the test more. It also provides some lifestyle changes that might help.

Thank you so much, I really needed something to keep me going until I can speak to the doctor, I’m a worrisome person so everything gets blown out of proportion.
