Bubbles in pee after kidney transplant, high protein: Desperate

Hi ! I hope if someone has information about this can help me ! My dad has 4 weeks after being transplanted. His pee has bubbles and his tests show high protein. Somebody has that problem in his or her process .
Im desespérate . I aprecciate help .

@betzymontero8, I want to welcome you and to congratulate both you and your dad for his recent kidney transplant. As his daughter and caregover, you are absolutely correct to be concerned about this. I am a liver/kidney recipient and I have read that the bubbles can indicate high levels of protein in urine as indicated in his labs. However, as a patient who transplanted 15 years ago, I do not remember what my urine or labs indicated at 4 weeks post surgery.
At 4 weeks post transplant, your dad is still in the very early stages of recovery and adjusting to the many medicines that are required. He should be having frequent labs drawn and be monitored by his transplant team. And it may take a while for his labs to return to a stable level. They will be watching closely for abnormal (for this early stage of recovery) signs.

I think that you will want to talk to the transplant team with your concern about the bubbles and his labs. Are you able to contact them? Does he have a nurse coordinator? At only 4 weeks, a phone call is always appropriate.

Thanks both girls ! I already saw one of the doctor , she told me . I need to be relax becouse old kidneys are doing that bubbles . . But im still worry 😞

It is that true . I have hogh protein into urine . He told me some people get that because I am old . He even did a biopsy. And the kidney it is ok no injuries.
My my feet swallow ever day I can not walk now

My dad has 6 months with a new kidney , the transplant is great but he loss protein in the urine 400 in 24 hours urine test . The doctor says is normal 😥 but I’m afraid .I apréciate if somebody has the seim situation.

The doctor say is from the old kidney. I just believe know in God .
Medicine is amazing but some things like humans we just need trust in God steps . The last appointment doctor say to me I’m no relax .
