Grover's Disease: What works to help find relief?
I have been diagnosed with Grover's disease under my breasts. I had a biopsy for diagnosis. Tried topical ointment with no really good results. Any ideas?

The severity of you symptom's is heartbreaking. I don't think it's a coincidence that my obsession with gardening or other outdoor activities in the heat brought about my GD.
Keep searching. I learned about cilantro, which worked for me on a Mayo site in Feb of 2019.
I have heard from other's that Facebook has a robust GD site. No need for me to search anymore, but like other auto immune diseases I have no doubt it's lurking inside my body.
Hello,
I am an 80 year old female dealing with disseminated superficial actinic porokeratosis (DSAP) which now literally covers my entire body. The last place for it to appear is on my face.Over the years I’ve tried several treatments but nothing works.
Wondering if anyone has tried the ruby red laser for this treatment?
Thanks,
Sheila
Hi friend, we have many of the same chemical allergies. These manifested one year ago for me and have taken over every area of my life since then. I can only wear cotton and look for pima cotton mostly. The prettiest and softest pima clothing is at Peruvian Connection. PACT, Cottonique, Garnet Hill, and Company Store have a lot of pure cotton clothes, linens, face masks, etc. All of these are online shops. Back to chemical allergies, are you aware of ANY possible way to reverse them or minimize them? I can't imaging suffering my whole life with them. Best wishes, Julie
My husband found improvement from the intense itching and rash within a week of starting Cilantro tincture, which
He ordered online. (He couldn’t stand the thought of cilantro smoothies and knew he wouldn’t stick with it.). Good luck!
I'm excited to learn it helped your husband. Truly his improvement after a week is remarkable, it took me at least 3 weeks to notice improvement and as I've mentioned it took about 3 months to be sure I was dormant. I stayed on the blended cilantro for almost 6 months and am still clear now 5 years later- but I do buy a bunch to make 2 blended tonics once a month.
For me cilantro capsules didn't help. Yet perhaps his product is more effective. Could you share the name of the tincture and what site he purchased it on.
For those disgusted with the taste and refusing to try it I figure they weren't in as much pain or had as severe a case as I did. I've learned that PAIN is a serious motivator!!!
My GD symptoms are currently dormant, but I just went through surgery for skin cancer and look at Mayo site: 'cancer spreading.' A contributor there has amazing success for overall skin condition taking kelp tablets. Wondering if it might help GD ?
Hi Gardenjunkie
It’s BioKrauter Cilantro
He got a 4 oz bottle with dropper
(Lasts about 2 mts). About $18
What works for one doesn’t necessarily work for others. Worth a try, though. (I tried it…it’s quite palatable)
BEST of luck!
Helpful information for those that don't have access to fresh, don't have time to keep fresh on hand or have a hard time tolerating the strong flavor.
I've been following this forum lately, reading back as far as four years. My dermatologist Deborah told me I have Grover's on my body (inc. arms and legs), i just thought it was atopic eczema (which I also have) or heat lumps. Anyway to cut a long story short, I bought some Cilantro / Corriander (UK) after seeing the recommendaion on this forum. I was eating a cup full a day for four days and my skin showed some signs of healing, BUT on the fifth day I doubled it up to two cups and boy did my skin react badly! My entire body and face went into a weepy itchy rashy mess. I will now avoid this in the future, alongside Celery and Fennel (the same family) and hope this is what has been causing my skin to be bad. I eat Celery in salads quite a bit. I have also stopped drinking milk eight days ago, in case it is dairy.
I googled it and 33% of adults are allergic to Corriander / Cilantro, so be careful!
I think it might have been the steroid cream healing the skin, and the hot water from the shower drying it up, rather than the Corriander.
My dermatologist (a different one, not Deborah) laughed when I told him about this forum, he said you can't get Grover's on your arms and legs, he has it and you can only get it on your back and chest. Wtf! It just shows you that these health proffesionals don't know everything!
Certainly not about Grovers.
