I can’t sleep without Twmpezpam.
I am struggling thru life . My husband has cancer . I take many meds to function . I have terrible anxiety and take Klonopin . Zolloff used to work for that . I am terrified to try another antidepressant because I am scared and have been on Zolloff highest dose , for a long time and would rather struggle then go thru changes . I have terrible insomnia . Trazodone used to put me to sleep
but it stopped . My life is extremely stressful. I fear every thing . I see a therapist. I still fear COVID . My husband’s cancer is very rare and after brain surgery, they could not get it all . It returned 27 years ago last year . We constantly have scans and he is watched . Has anyone been on klonopin and Tempezpam for a long time ? I am
so sacred.

If the Klonopin isn't helping enough and the Zoloft sounds like, isn't helping at all anymore....you need to stop them both. This is no way to live!! You can find other meds that WILL HELP YOU FEEL BETTER. I suggest you try either Diazepam or Lorazepam .....both have worked excellent for me. I was taking Diazepam for occasional anxiety...10mg. And it worked great! But I didn't take it everyday and I took Flurazepam for sleep which also worked Excellent! Then Flurazepam got discontinued...... and I tried many sleep meds thar did not work for me. Then my doctor suggested I stop taking Diazepam and start taking Lorazepam which is medication that is excellent for anxiety and also is great for sleep!! Plus, I take it everyday..... yes...am most likely addicted.....but my quality of life is excellent, so it's worth it to me. I know people who have been on Lorazepam for many years and have not had to up their dosage. So for now....this medication is giving me a great quality of life....and that's all we all want.
The Tempezpam still gives her good aleep with the trazodone ? Any side effects ? Does she have anxiety or depression? Thanks for your help . I greatly appreciate your response .
I have taken Clonazepam for 10 years. My dose is 2 mg. I have not need to increase my dose yet. It helps to quiet my mind at night. I suggest you consider Amitriptyline 25 mg two hours before bed. It usually takes this much time to kick in. If you’re still groggy, take it earlier. I take it at 4:00 so I don’t experience daytime sleepiness. I hope you get on the right med. It also helps with pain
Been on ambien for about 20 years. Addicted is putting it mildly. I cant sleep without it. Is there a way to wean off of it without going crazy or having brain damage, stroke, psychosis
Hi, I sympathize with you... Ambien is the most addictive med out there! I was on it for a short time but it wasn't working great...I would have to take more after 3-4 hours of sleep... the only way to get off Ambien is to get something else to replace it that works....and that can be a long hard process to find the med that works for you.... I wish you the best of luck! If Ambien is working good for you, maybe just stay on it....
I understand completely. I am completely stressed out and I can’t sleep without Temazepem. I have tried and decreased the dose , because I was on the highest amount . I am dealing with my spouses cancer , my bff deadly cancer and my mom not well. My mine is constantly racing . If I don’t sleep , I am complete wreck !!!!!! It’s so hard !!!!!
I also have used Lorazepam for years & it is my favorite. Seem to have no side effects.
I think I don't understand the term " addiction" well enough as that if something works,
why is it bad to keep taking it.......maybe some folk need a stronger dose eventually & that becomes a problem.
Not being able to sleep is the worst! I am going to try a sleep study to see if I can learn more about WHY I have difficulty falling asleep. Maybe I won't need Lorazepam eventually but until then, I am glad some scientist developed it! KayR
