@petr I can only relate to the right kidney cyst I had many years ago. My urologist sent me to an interventional radiologist, whom I would recommend at this point for you. The diagnosis of the small mass was cancerous and had it removed as outpatient at my local hospital through cryoabation, which freezes the mass and eventually disappears. Absolutely no pain and went home in less than 2 hours after the procedure.
@maxxmaxx, i get UTI's quite frequently. plus bladder infections once in awhile. plus i have 2 kidney stones in both kidneys right now. interestingly in the upper part and lower parts exactly both kidneys. very painful out of nowhere. meaning, i'll be fine. then wham pain. but no passing. but, NO CKD.
i, too have Spondylolisthesis. plus a herniated disc at L4-L5. but then to top it all off i just found out that i have degenerative arthritis all the way up my spine. so you're going to have to find a pain management doctor or a Neurologist to help you find out which one is causing the pain. it sounds like you have a Urologist already. so get them involved in this. that's my honest best opinion. good luck, daniel 💙💙❤❤
Thank you Danny. I'm sorry you have to suffer these things, as I do. I have had neurologist for years now, on gabapentin and extra strength Tylenol, so my liver and kidneys are taking a hit. I too have osteoarthritis in my hips and back just to make life interesting. Growing old is a real challenge! I.must admit I sick of going to doctors. Take care.

@maxxmaxx, is the extra strength Tylenol actually doing anything for your back pain? or is IT hurting your liver and kidneys. they don't help me at all. my doctor put me on Celebrex 50 mg 2 times daily. i didn't think they'd help. but i am surprised that they help me. they don't totally take away the pain 100%. they make it much more tolerable to get some rest & sleep. but that's if you can stay standing up. i have a balance issue. and i fall down. which i did 2 weeks ago now. and if you've done that, you know that don't help. but keep taking your meds that help. you know what works for your body. good luck, danny 💙.

Be careful of the Celebrex. Medicines like it over long use can cause CKD. I can’t take any arthritis drugs or over the counter pain pills other than Tylenol because they all can damage your kidneys. But Tylenol doesn’t help my pain at all because it’s not an anti inflammatory . If I’m in extreme pain I can take a tramadol but I don’t find them very helpful either. I never thought I would have so much pain from arthritis. I’m only 88 but I walk bent over like a little old lady. A little humor.

yes i've heard about Celebrex causing CDK. also some stomach issues. i'm monitoring my stomach too. i've got to be careful of ulcers which i've had. also my Gastroparesis.
i love your humor. we need that. danny 🤣🤣

@etb2 Tylenol does nothing for me either. i took Tramadol for a while when i had Shingles. it worked ok. but it worked very well when i took a double dose by accident. i was working and i forgot what time i took it. so i took it again. it left me loopy. but the pain wasn't to bad.
BUT I'M NOT TELLING YOU TO DOUBLE DOSE. BECAUSE EVERYBODY HAS DIFFERENT REACTIONS. SO DO NOT DO THAT. I WAS LUCKY THAT IT DID NOT MAKE ME SICK OR PUT ME IN THE HOSPITAL. OK?? @danny5
thank you. I will pursue that.
@bjs040953 there is another discussion about what to eat and following a renal diet for CKD. You might find that interesting and helpful.

Has anyone tried Ellura for urinary tract health. Best thing I have ever used
I have tramadol and it doesn't help that much and Tylenol, in my opinion, is worthless.,,
