How soon does one secure lodging for a 3 month stay? Mayo Rochester

Tentative date is late March, prefer a home atmosphere, looking at Covered by Faith rentals. I don't want to wait too long or do people secure lodging once have a date? Who can assist you with this process?

Hi
Do they accept small dog, 2 beds ? I'm single, so caregivers need own bed.

What if it’s not a transplant? What if it’s back & ankle surgery & rehab visits daily?
I’d need to state there b/c I live in Florida!
PS: Mayo in Rochester is rated .#1 best hospitals but the Jacksonville Mayo rates #50? I called & what Jacksonville would do for a medical problem maybe a lot different from the care at Rochester! FYI

Wow, that’s interesting. I had my kidney transplant at Mayo Jacksonville and the hospital and team was wonderful. If you’ve found the physician you want to do your surgery I’d say schedule as early as you are able so you can ease your mind about accommodations. That way you can focus on your surgery and getting well. Good luck. I’m sure you will be well taken care of.
