I switched taking the very same medication (my dose is 50 mg once a day), from night to morning. It did not seem to make a difference, I have good nights and not-so-good nights, I've had a septal myectomy, am not on any other heart meds other than a statin, also taken on the morning.
I take metoprolol succinate ER 100 mg in the morning and metoprolol succinate ER 50 mg at night. The only one who can adjust the dosage will be your cardiologist since he knows how the metoprolol may be interacting with camzyos 5 mg. I am not adjusting any medication that I keep taking the same way I took before I started camzyos on 3/29/24.
Thanks for support
My cardiologist order jardiance
10mg
I started taking today
My blood pressure was still high
When the pills did not help this is what helped me to reduce a little bit my high blood pressure:
Avoided adding any salt in your food. All processed food has salt including the bread and milk. Avoided high sodium food (bacon, sausage, I saw the labels of food) I found low sodium food or no sodium food such as orange juice, fresh vegetables, rice I cooked with no salt at all. Reduced the amount of food I eat but I am still taking my vitamins. I loss over 20 pounds in 3 months and my blood pressure went down from 167/100 to 138/89. With the blood pressure medication during the day my blood pressure is now around 130/85. I took 1 mile to 1 mile and a half walk inside a grocery store to avoid the cold weather outside.
Avoided stress and try to get enough rest including a nap in the afternoon helped me a lot.
I hope this helps and you get better.
I have had the same problem, I tried meditating but with no success. But recently (several weeks ago) I tried meditation using sites on YouTube. I cannot tell you how much difference it has made. It usually takes about 15 minutes for the relaxation to set in. I use one Tibetan site, and one Gregorian chant site. There are also free sites that feature so many soothing sounds like rain or ocean sounds. You can probably find something that soothes and relaxes you. I understand how you feel and wish you luck with finding a solution. Meditating with sounds has worked for me. I can usually sleep 6 to 8 hours now. Once in a while, my sleep is disturbed, but I keep meditating and it works for me.
Being tired is probably connected to not sleeping well. I am 83 yrs old, have the same problem, and am still looking for a solution. I think my issue about sleeping is related to stress and my thyroid problem (I’ve had serious thyroid problems since I was 17 yrs old. It sounds like you are trying to do all the right things. Good luck.
