I had to get a prescription from my doctor. You can buy it on line, but that scared me. Liquid quinine tastes horrible.

Hello Dawn, I too suffered from leg cramps and my doctor suggested a calcium & magnesium supplement. I started taking them in the morning and at night and it helped. I hope this can be of help.

Special stockings that are made. My doctor prescribed them for me. My cramps were so bad that I struggled to the dresser drawer, put them on and WALLA, I fell asleep.

When I feel leg cramp coming I grab a foam roller and put it on floor. Then I put my legs on the foam roller and use my body weight to roll out the leg cramp. But I will eat bananas and drink water for them. It can be potassium and water. But that's just my experience

what I'm wondering - it seems vinegar and alkaline water are exactly opposites, one is acid, one is alkaline. Which tells me ... every person is so different that one solution does not fit all. But good to hear all the different solutions out there - hoping to find one that works for me. I still have a tonic (with a little vodka) and that does seem to help - but that could also be because it helps to rehydrate.

I agree, every one DNA is different. I do know my body is very acidic, I can wear no ring even if it is a gold alloy; my belt buckle must be non-magnetic, as stainless steel is. Hence, the allkalytes do benefit my acidic body imbalance. By the way, my acidity attracts mosquito bites too whereas my wife seldom gets a bite and she wears any kind of ring so I know her body tips is the alkaline range.

I am aware that alcohol dehydrates the body by evaporation through the skin. In the past I did wonder if my consumption of dinner red wine did had any effect in my cramp episodes. however, withthe advent of my enriched alkylate wayter i did realize that was niot the case. The key thing her is one diet change at a time to observe the effect.

I am so sorry you are suffering so from leg cramp issues. If these issues are in your calf muscles at the back of your leg, what works for me is to stand on the ball of the foot, putting all my weight on that foot. That seems to "use the muscle" and then it releases. I hope this is helpful for you.
