Is there a generic version of Cymbalta 60mg yet?
I have been taking Cymbalta 60 my for 3 years. It has worked for me. I picked up my medicine last week, the color of my Cymbalta has changed. I am taking it now and it feel like it is not working. I feel like I am nothing. What could be the problem. There is not a generic for Cymbalta yet, is there?

Hi @apportee. Welcome to Connect. We're glad you've joined our community. I did a quick search on drugs.com and there is a generic for Cymbalta but if you received the correct dose, it should have still been the same color. Can I ask what color the pill was? Also, have you called your prescriber to let them know what's going on?
I'm tagging @blindeyepug @workwithkids @salena54 @dlady and @bobsconnect who also take Cymbalta. Have any of you experienced the same thing @apportee is describing?

1 ReactionNo i havent experienced that. Im slowly self weening myself off of cymbalta. Its really makin more problems for me in regards to sleep n appetite, both of which i already have issues with & cymbalta is making even worse.
Indeed, there is a generic for Cymbalta, it us duloxitine. I have been on Cymbalta for about 6+ years (120mg) it works well. Since generic came out I have been utilizing it. No problems at all...depression/anxiety may run high depending on "life issues" otherwise I see a therapist to help me through those rough spots! No problems with appetite (eat mostly fresh veggies and fruits, chicken and fish). I pray all works out for you!

Thanks for replaying. Yes I talked to the pharmacist today. The generic I was taking was working just fine. Kept my depression down. I felt good. I felt like somebody. They have to order the Cymbalta I was on, I mean the old generic. I will have to pay 15.00$ for the copay, but my husband said that was okay.
Hi, Cymbalta gave me no problems. It improve my appetite, my self-esteem. I feel so down now. My Doctor was notin today, so I have to wait until tomorrow to get some results. I need a refill on the old generic Cymbalta I was taking. Thanks.
