One of the subjects I wrote on was the caregiver.

Just so beautiful and inspiring Joe! I feel your Creed is something I need to share with my husband, daughter and son. It is fantastic to say the least!! I am disabled with Arachnoiditis due to 7 spinal fusions with a 10 day spinal leak! I am in extreme pain and my husband of 51 years has been diagnosed with dementia. We are blessed having our adult son living with us and helping us take care of each other as well as loving our 17 year old little "Teddy Bear" dog who has us all trained!! You are very gifted sharing your wisdom with all of us. Thank you so much for we are blessed by you!! Sincerely, Lanie

I'm not sure if what I just responded to you was eliminated or I lost it. I came to Mayo Connect due to being diagnosed with Arachnoiditis. I have found Joe to be such a gift as others. Am I doing something wrong connecting to him and others? This is a place I trust. Please advise me if I am doing something inappropriate. I appreciate the support and giving support. Hi @zoesmom. Oh my goodness, no, you’re not doing anything wrong by being supportive to Joe and reaching out to others! That’s what Connect is all about; Being a place of support, encouragement and hope!
We want you to feel safe and welcomed. So, @becsbuddy was just welcoming you to the forum! She only asked what brought you here in the effort to connect you with other members who may share a similar diagnosis. It’s wonderful that you found @bigjoek and his comments to be so personally helpful. Please, continue just as you’ve been doing! I hope this clears up any misunderstanding. ☺️
