@patjack2 The $140 vibration plate you purchased looks unsafe for osteoporosis. (Probably for Parkinson's too.) Based on the product's videos and reviews, it looks like it's a rocker plate that vibrates roughly, like a paint shaker. Please do be careful if you continue to use this machine -- sometimes you get what you pay for.

So sorry your OsteoStrong team didn't provide you any guidance about what to get for home, but they probably didn't know either. There is a lot of good info in this forum on whole-body vibration and plates (e.g., Marodyne) that you can obtain using a search. If you have any questions, I know folks here will try to help you and/or point you in a evidence-based direction.
