I had a similar experience. One of the MRI places in my town was listed as having TBS. I called 3 times and 3 different people told me that they don't have it.

That's frustrating. Sometimes it's an issue with general staff not knowing what it is. I've been looking for more info about it, and learned that there are facilities that have it, but don't use it. If they don't have a radiologist who knows how to interpret it, that's a problem too.

If you experienced memory loss from evenity, did it go away when you stopped?

@misspatty I feel my memory issues are from COVID, not Evenity, and the other person who posted on this had also had COVID recently. I can't prove anything but I read last night that sclerostin can enhance brain shrinkage so it is even possible that Evenity, which inhibits sclerostin, might be helpful cognitively. I haven't seen any info on that but there are studies on the negative effects of high sclerostin in the brain. Not much is known as yet about Evenity so we'll see but the connection in my case to memory loss is very doubtful.

windyshore, Thanks for your response about memory loss and Evenity. I stopped Evenity due to horrendous headaches, muscle and bone pain and fatigue and insomnia. I have also experienced some concerning memory loss/brain fog. I'm working with my Dr to determine the cause of the memory issues. We'll keep working on it.
Thank you.

I forgot to mention that I had COVID, but it was over 2 years ago. My Eventiy was 2 months ago.

@misspatty I am still open to the idea that Evenity is causing memory issues. I am having weird, complicated dreams since I started. Sclerostin does have a function in the brain apparently. So little is known and it is hard to make these decisions!

Windyshores, Thanks. Hopefully we will all find some answers and solutions so we can be as healthy and active as possible for our kids and grandkids. ❤

I have refrained from posting because I don't want to have a negative effect on anyone contemplating Evenity. It seems most everyone does well on it.

Coming clean for those who might benefit: In truth, I am having a lot of neurological side effects. I want to emphasize this is unusual. Numbness, pins and needles, pain, dreams, fatigue and most of all, burning sensations all over and especially chest. I decided to post this in case anyone else has this. I had two shots then one shot, and last time was one shot. I would say that the symptoms are progressive. So if anyone does have these- unlikely as it is- it is possible that they will not improve or even worsen with continued exposure. Continued exposure at low dose followed by gradual increases, helped me with Tymlos but not Evenity.

I am very tolerant of neuro sensations and other side effects but this is intense. I have an autoimmune disorder and wonder if that is relevant.

continue with Evenity.
