Dr. Greg Vanichkachorn, Medical Director of the COVID Activity Rehabilitation Program has been on several news sources to discuss the lasted study published in  Mayo Clinic Proceedings. This new study looks at the first 100 people who went through Mayo’s Covid Activity Rehabilitation Program.  The study found that the majority of people seen in this program were not hospitalized for Covid-19.   It also found that over one third of the people had trouble with basic daily tasks, felt very tired or fatigued, had lung or breathing problems, and had problems with headaches, tingling, numbness in arms or legs, or troubles with memory or multitasking.  Some people also had difficulty thinking clearly, sleep problems and mental health symptoms such as anxiety and depression.  The good news is that most people benefited from several treatment options including physical therapy, occupational therapy and brain rehabilitation.
