Sep 7, 2021 | Nick Rethemeier | @nrethemeier

The Mayo Clinic Conference on Brain Health and Dementia is happening virtually on October 29th. In the weeks leading up to the Conference, the Hub will share previews of the conference to the newsfeed.

Jason Karlawish, MD, is our featured speaker. Dr. Karlawish is a Professor of Medicine, Medical Ethics and Health Policy, and Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania and Co-Director of the Penn Memory Center, and author of the newly released book The Problem of Alzheimer's: How Science, Culture, and Politics Turned a Rare Disease into a Crisis and What We Can Do About It. Dr. Karlawish will share profound insights as a clinician and ethicist. Attendees will come away with a different appreciation for science, self-determination, and clearer vision for how we can, and must, do better for those living with dementia and their families.

To hear more from Dr. Karlawish, register today for the Mayo Clinic Conference on Brain Health and Dementia.
