Featured Workshop: Powerful Tools for Caregiving
At the Hub, we like to share relevant information and quality resources to assist those living with dementia and care partners. This month, we would like to highlight a workshop from the Elder Network called Powerful Tools for Caregiving.
The Elder Network is offering a six-week in-person workshop for anyone caring for an older friend or a relative, whether it’s at home, in a nursing home or across the country. Powerful Tools for Caregiving is an evidence-based program that helps you develop a wealth of tools to:
- reduce stress
- change negative self-talk
- communicate more effectively
- recognize the messages in emotions
- make tough caregiving decisions
The workshop takes place at Madonna Summit on Thursdays from 10:00-11:30am starting May 25th. Registration is $60. For more information and to register, visit the workshop flyer or call (507) 285-5272.
