Earlier this summer, Angela Lunde, Program Manager at the Mayo Clinic Alzheimer's Disease Research Center discussed resilience through mindfulness on the Banner Alzheimer's Institutes' podcast, Dementia Untangled.

Angela discusses how to identify one's own unique struggles and create a path of resilience, not resistance, through practicing mindfulness. She shares how she was able to untangle the feeling of acceptance and how she incorporates that into mindful practices, giving our full attention to whatever is happening now, leading to many health benefits. She also teaches a quick and easy way to practice mindfulness by paying attention to the present moment and focusing on our own breath.

You can listen to the Dementia Untangled podcast on their website, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Angela clearly explains how the concept of mindfulness can help caregivers improve their state of mind when experiencing the difficulties in their day. She then gives *excellent* and clear instruction on how to acquire mindfulness which is very helpful for anyone in everyday life. It is a very valuable episode for anyone.
