How to use onsite notifications

Many of you use the Daily Digest sent to your email to see new activity in the community. Did you know you can also use notifications on the site?

Just look for the Bell icon in the upper-right corner. The blue circle tells you how many notifications you have relevant to you.

You receive an onsite notification when someone

  • @mentions you
  • replies to your comments
  • reacts to your posts
  • comments to discussions you participate in (started or commented) whether you follow the group or not
  • new discussions started in groups you follow
  • new newsfeed posts in blogs you follow

You can also sort your notifications by type:

Onsite notifications help you stay connected without leaving the site. Learn more about How to customize your notifications and settings.

Hello @maggiemay37, Welcome to Connect. We have a wealth of patient discussions sharing their experiences along with what they have learned along the way. Can we help you connect with members who share your condition?

Hello John, yes I would like to connect with other members with similar health conditions, hopefully not too many as I wouldn’t like to bore other likeminded people too much.
