I was diagnosed with PMR 1 year ago ... I am down to 5 mg/day I still have PMR ... knows how he or she feels & how much pain ... weeks & I know I am not ready to cut back ... the person affected knows how much pain

I have polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) ... prednisone, the last six months going back ... the drug and not have the associated pain ... that comes with PMR. ... tapered by 5 mg a month unless I had pain

instead of 3 to see if that reduces the pain ... reducing it to 1-1/2 mg and see if the pain ... me on with my first occurrence of PMR ... reduce by 1 mg every 3 days and if the pain ... was too bad to go back to the previous

So much pain! ... I want to go back up to 3mg but at this ... What a thing to say to a PMR pt. ... I wonder if for some, the PMR never

husband was diagnosed last year with PMR ... that gives him any relief from the pain ... tried reducing the dosage, but the pain ... comes back within 24 hours of reducing ... gives him a little relief from the pain

cortisol wall it can easily restart the PMR ... pain stayed with me. ... pituitary is trying to restart and your PMR ... just keep pushing(bumping) it to the pain ... There will be some pain.

Waking them back up is a big portion ... of PMR tapering. ... insufficiency are very easy to confuse with PMR ... pain.
