The long-standing Mayo Clinic Model of Care serves as a well-established foundation for our multidisciplinary Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) Clinic.

The EDS Clinic at Mayo Clinic in Florida was started in December 2019 to provide diagnoses and specialized care for patients with EDS by inspiring hope, relieving suffering, and advancing the science and education of hypermobile EDS (hEDS) and hypermobility spectrum disorder (HSD).

In keeping with the Mayo Clinic Model of Care, patients receive comprehensive evaluations through the departments of General Internal Medicine and Clinical Genomics. Patients can develop treatment plans with individualized specialties including Physical and Occupational Therapy, Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Psychology, Integrative Medicine, and other specialty areas as needed to support each unique patient. This multidisciplinary team approach ensures patients are accurately evaluated and receive treatment using a wide array of modalities and treatment plans.
