New Volunteer: Fernando Jimenez
Please join me in welcoming Fernando Jimenez to our team of Mayo Clinic Young Volunteers! Fernando is entering his sophomore year at Mayo High School. You may see him assisting patients and visitors in a variety of ways on the downtown campus.
Q: Are you originally from the Rochester area? If not, where else have you lived?
A: I am originally from Columbus, Ohio.
Q: When you aren't volunteering, what else do you like to do?
A: I like fencing and playing the violin, as well as video games and watching TV.
Q: What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
A: Phone, wi-fi router, and outlet
Q: What is your proudest accomplishment?
A: Winning the concerto competition in SEMYO
Q: What is your favorite thing about Mayo Clinic?
A: I like how much it dedicates its resources to the well-being of patients.
