Heart palpitations sent Terrance to his local hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire. But if he was being honest, he hadn’t felt well for the past six months. His eyes were bloodshot, he was jaundiced and had bruises. Terrance had severely deteriorated liver function.
After getting his situation under control, Terrance saw a local liver specialist and was told to come back in 90 days. With that timeline in mind, he left for an African safari, but his health situation became serious during his travels home. Several weeks later, Terrance went to Mayo Clinic’s campus in Jacksonville, where he would ultimately receive a liver transplant. Read about Terrance’s journey to transplantation, and how he’s giving back to the transplant community now that he is well.
