Nov 30, 2021 | Nick Rethemeier | @nrethemeier

November is Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness of the disease while recognizing the important work that caregivers do when caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's or a related dementia.

In a recent podcast, co-authors Angela Lunde, M.A.  and Dr. Jonathan Graff-Radford, M.D. discuss the 2nd edition of the book Mayo Clinic on Alzheimer's Disease and Other Dementias. Important highlights include information on decreasing risks for dementia, addressing the misconceptions and stigma surrounding people living with dementia, as well as focusing on the voice of people living with dementia and their care partners.
