Holiday greeting, gold lights and snowflakes

Wishing you moments of peace and joy this holiday season. May the strength we find in our connections and conversations offer light that lead to hope, and support you in health, illness or loss.

Mayo Clinic Connect is a place where experiences connect us, and understanding grows.

Thank you for caring together.

A special thank you to

  • Volunteer Mentors who guide the conversations and help connect members.
  • Superhelper Members who give other members support. You help people know they are not alone.
  • Members who ask questions. Without questions there are no answers.

As always Mayo Clinic Connect is available throughout the holidays – every day, every hour.

Meet other members, share experiences and find support from people like you.

From all of us at Mayo Clinic Connect,
we wish you and yours a healthy and safe season and
all the best in the New Year.

Thank you for the wishes. Connect was my lifeline several years ago, and is a community I value every day.

I will add my own wish - for a grateful New Year. As we battle with the many challenges life sends our way, it is often difficult to feel gratitude, but I reflect on the many wonderful people here who are able to do just that.

Thank you Colleen, the other Moderators, the volunteer Mentors, the Superhelpers, and all the members who remind us each day how to live gracefully. And Thank You to Mayo Clinic for supporting this safe space for all of us.

Mayo Clinic Connect came to my life at a time I felt alone in my health struggles. It has been there for me, lighting the way with tips, guidance, and support. The gratitude and connection with fellow members simply cannot be denied!

Thank you to our fearless director @colleenyoung, her team of moderators, my fellow mentors, our super helpers, and all. We are all members in this, no matter our title/role. Each of us has a little light that shines, and together we light the way for everyone here!

Thank you all who are on Connect. I happened on Connect just by chance. I had recently been diagnosed with clippers and NO ONE had ever heard of it. I found Connect and just thought why not? I’ve got nothing to lose, and here I am. I’ve met so many great people and have learned so much and have gotten strength to be more assertive with doctors. Now if I could only wish away my autoimmune disease! Becky

When I found this site, I was in a bad place. I still have days that I am physically struggling as well as emotionally, but opening my email each morning and being able to read and find kindred spirits on this site has helped me immensely. Thanks to all of you whether I know your name or not...I am grateful for you.

@diverdown1 I happened upon Connect after a cancer diagnosis and subsequent hysterectomy. I tried other media sites and this is the one where I found the most support and needed information. I think I speak for all of us that we are grateful you found Mayo Clinic Connect and that you return each morning to allow us to support and help you.
