Featured Event: Powerful Tools for Caregivers

The Elder Network is a Rochester-based nonprofit that seeks to help those over 55 live fulfilling and enriching lives. Starting February 20th, they are hosting a 6 week virtual workshop called Powerful Tools for Caregiving.

Powerful Tools for Caregiving will help anyone caring for an older friend or a relative, whether it’s at home, in a nursing home or across the country. It is an evidence-based program that will help you develop tools to:

Reduce stress
Change negative self talk
Communicate more effectively
Recognize the messages in emotions
Make tough caregiving decisions

Powerful Tools for Caregiving takes place on Tuesdays from February 20-March 26 at 6:00pm CT. There is a $25. If you are interested, please contact the Elder Network at (507) 285-5272.
