Emory University Recruiting for Two Caregiver Research Studies

Emory University is recruiting for two caregiver-focused research studies. Like Mayo Clinic, Emory is one of 36 Alzheimer's Disease Research Centers across the country working to improve diagnosis, and care of people living with Alzheimer's disease as well as finding new ways to treat and prevent dementia. Dementia Boot Camp

Dementia Bootcamp is a program for caregivers recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or other type of dementia.

What's Involved

  • 5 online sessions (Zoom)
  • 3-4 short interviews
    • You will be compensated with a gift card for each interview

Can Do: Caregiver As Navigator: Developing Skills Online

Benefits of Participating:

  • Improve your confidence and skills in handling medical, legal, financial, and family issues in the everyday challenges of dementia.
  • Explore how to find help and deal with difficult situations.
  • Share your experiences and work together with other people like you.

Eligibility 

  • Provide care at least 4 hours per week for a family member or friend with dementia.
  • Are 18 years old or older.
