Description

The Stephen and Barbara Slaggie Family Cancer Education Center is partnering with Mayo Clinic Chaplain Services to offer the Cancer and Spiritual Well-Being Webinar Series. These talks are led by Mayo Clinic Chaplains who will discuss ways to engage in spirituality while dealing with cancer. We will explore strategies for coping and reflect on what it means to experience grief, loss, resentment, forgiveness, hope, and healing. This content is appropriate for anyone regardless of individual beliefs or faith traditions.

This is part 4 of a 5-part series. Resentments can be a deep source of emotional pain. We will discuss how resentments impact our lives and ways to heal from them. This webinar is FREE and available to anyone. Register to join us LIVE or visit our Cancer Education Blog video library afterwards to view the recording.

I just received an interesting book called Holy Moments. It described all of us either receive or give Holy Moments all day long. Did you smile at somone today? That was a Holy Moment. Did you write a comment to help someone today? That was a Holy Moment. How about that little old lady who lives on your stret who has so much trouble getting to her mail box to collect her mail. Did you maybe help her with this problem. You guessed it, another Holy Moment. Just think how many of these moments you have created. I bet you could count a 100 just for your children and their friends. Resentment and lack of forgiveness rides on the back of the one who carries these problems. Learn the art of Holy Moments and your life will be full, and healed.

I too received this book from a friend who received it from his friend. It absolutely resonated with my way of being, and amplified my walk. Inspirational, and a testament to outward focus away from self interest towards others. “I am the Way the Truth and the Life…” <

The book was given to all members of our local Catholic Church. The name of the book is HOLY MOMENTS. I am not sure, but it maybe available on EWTN book store. It is my understanding this book was written by a member of our church. The Diosis would be Sacramento, California and they should be better able to direct you as to where you might find this book.

How beautiful...I always believed in those Holy Moments, so powerful. To me that is real worship, walking the walk all day. Your note was a Holy Moment. Bless you
