Your experience with IMRT (radiation) + capecitebine (oral chemo)?
Hello. I'm getting ready to start 28 treatments. I have some "prepare yourself" literature from the pharmacy and from the radiation oncologist's office, but if anyone feels inclined to share their own experience with this combo, I'd be grateful for any info.
Thanks, everyone.

By the way, my treatment with my first occurrence of pancan was with Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, CA; though my surgeon also practices at USC which is listed as a "center of excellence, and that is their home base; in fact that group recently returned there. If you read any of my gripes on this site about my medical care, you might assume and be correct that Hoag is not a "center of excellence". It is a good hospital, just not the best for cancer. Since I had a HMO this year, though next year I'll have a PPO and can go anywhere in California that accepts Blue Shield, I was limited in my options. I wish I had known about this site last year when I was diagnosed as I would have learned a lot before I chose Hoag. But, also I'm going to Cedar Sinai next week to hopefully get a good opinion on what treatment course I should take.
