Why are my ears more stuffed now than before eustachian tube surgery?

My ears are more stuffed now than before septoplasty and eustachian tube surgery. Ears were completely stuffed (not even any crackling) for three months. I went to ENT who did a pressure test. He said I needed a septoplasty and balloon dilation and tubes in eustachian tubes. Waited another month for approval from surgery. Now, after surgery, my nose feels like it's healing but my ears are more stuffed now than before the surgery. It's been 2 weeks since surgery. ENT is hoping that it's just swelling from the surgery. Anyone had this happen? I'm trying not to panic.
