When do you take Nattokinase?

Google hits seem to be opposites. On one side there is on an empty stomach in the morning. On the other side is at night before bed ignoring whether your stomach is empty. The "at night" point of view interestingly comes from Japanese research.

I believe Nattokinase is derived from natto which has Japanese origin so I would be inclined to go with the Japanese research.

Having said that, I have GERD so I have to be careful what I take on an empty stomach, i.e., taking something on an empty stomach before lying down to sleep - or even bending over after taking it on an empty or full stomach.
