What’s your funny favorite saying for tough times?
When things are tough, I try to laugh a little to boost my spirits. These are my favorite spirit-booster sayings, which I repeat as necessary:
“When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping.”
And “When you are going through he**, keep going.”

Life sucks then you die.
I have said that my entire adult life. It usually gets other people to sit up and stop whining. It makes me smile. It's true too. Life is hard and we have to do a lot of things we rather not do and that can suck.

This too shall pass. Like a kidney stone. Slowly and painfully.
Laughter is the best medicine, it sure beats the other crap they have me taking!
“Courage, Camille”. That’s what my mother used to say to me for encouragement and now I say to myself and to one of my friends. I often wondered where that phrase originated as I’ve heard it used in other scenarios. It most likely originated with Alexandre Dumas in his novel, The Lady of the Camillias”. There were many films over the years based on this novel so perhaps it originated in one of the films? I don’t know but it sure reminds me of my mother.
Laughter & Courage seem to help me.
I also say, "I'm afraid to say whats next, because it might be worse..."
with a laugh of course..... 🙂
WHERE DO YOU GET A CHOCOLATE PATCH???? !!!!! 🙂 K
There is always worse, be thankful this isn't that.
