What's up with the pain medication
I'm not sure if any members are experiencing this butI am. I am a chronic pain patient. I'm seen for back pain a long with many other issues.
I get a prescription for morphine , used twice a day for 30 days. That medication has been out of stock for over two months here. I also have had problems with 10/325 hydrocodone. They limit my prescriptions to 120 per month. It's also difficult to get. Is anyone else experiencing these issues? Please advise.

@koneil my man you got me all wrong. You obviously need opiates and so do I. “I’m tired of hearing about so many folks in need of the big guns (self included) and having a hard time getting them. Perhaps my usage/wording was misunderstood

Thank you for clarifying your position on pain management.
Pain management is not for the weak hearted. Like I previously stated, you have to go through lots of hoops to be accepted by a pain management clinic.
You really have to follow your Doctors instructions exactly. The pain management clinics did not give me opiates from the start. I had injections and nerve ablations with limited success. Only after my Doctor agreed that I need daily medication to control my pain did I get a script.
Your comment was extremely negative and it did upset me. I look to this forum for positve information, and also learn from others in similar conditions. Your comment was confusing and it did appear your were lumping all pain patients as drug addicts.
I agree I am dependent on my medication. My original post was just asking if others were having difficulty obtaining the medication. I'm really getting some very good advice from some posts.
Chebo1954, I thank you for clarifying your post.
Lets have peace.
@koneil, Unfortunately I don't think there's ever been a lack of hate or finger pointing. I've also had to stop Motrin which worked well for me but my kidneys can't handle it. I'll say it again, it makes a difference where we live. My wife has a friend who lives in a less populated location and has almost died because she barely made it to the nearest hospital which was over an hour away from her home. They live in a gorgeous mountain location they built twenty some years ago. Like my wife and I, she's in her mid 70's and dealing with winter weather and road conditions after storms is sometimes impossible. I've learned to ignore people who've had no personal experiences with anything but have endless opinions and criticisms. Good fortunes in the future @konil
