What's outside of your picture window today?

Posted by John, Volunteer Mentor @johnbishop, Nov 25, 2020

As we get ready for the real winter to show up and COVID-19 still playing a major part in our lives I like to spend moments of my day de-stressing about what’s going on in the world today. All I have to do is look out the window and observe some of natures beautiful creatures, how they interact and ponder how small it makes my troubles seem. Sometimes I may even get the opportunity to take a photo or two. How about you? Anything going on outside of your window(s) that you want to share?

For those members that have the ability to size your photos before you upload them to the discussion, may I suggest using the following sizes:
– 500 x 335 pixels (landscape)
– 210 x 210 pixels (square)

Here's a picture of a Amyrelious flowers gone but I kept the plant look now at how big is he leaves have gotten.Thats a snapdragon besides it buds on it

@lioness I forgot to mention that I lived in Long Beach when I was in the Navy. We had an apartment above a garage that was a few blocks from downtown closest to the Navy base.

@lioness @johnbishop. I used to live in Long Beach decades ago on Ocean Blvd, and I worked in the round building on that street. Used to walk the beach there. Had some good memories living there.

Well, the picture out my window isn’t beautiful birds signaling coming spring. We’re back to winter, for today at least. This is the county park behind my house just after sunrise. We had about 18-20” of heavy snow. ☹️

@becsbuddy, I'm sure you are more than ready for warmer days for your walks. However, your snow capture photos are lovely!

@nannette1941, Oh, how I agree with @lagrange5! Then there are those like me who struggle with English as a native language!! Smiles to all!

Thanks Toni! @avmcbellar. I think I need to clean the window this afternoon 🙂 It's too cold outside right now…even my kitty doesn't want to stay outside.

@johnbishop Oh! our cat had that look last night as a Golden Retriever invaded her territory [the house]. Dog was not aware she was high on cat tree, but she knew he was there!
