what is the latest treatment for a paralyzed diaphragm
I have stage 4 copd and have had a paralyzed diaphragm for 20 years. I only discovered this fact two years ago. I just recently had to use oxygen almost all the time and can't walk for 100 feet without being out of breath. Is there a surgical procedure that woukl help with this problem. I'm an 85 year old man and my general health is good.

I wish I had an answer for you, I've never heard of this. What does the Dr. say?
I’m also on oxygen 24/7 stage 4 and had issues with my ribs. I noticed it more after I’ve eaten, even if I eat very little, feels like there’s a vice grip around my diaphragm that is squeezing.
I found Dr David Majercin, http://www.natural healing company.com to be a tremendous help. He works on the ribs. He also offers neuropathy treatments which are awesome. I’m in Bradenton, Fl., Dr David Majercin is located in Sarasota, Fl. 941-921-5741.
I wish you well.
