Magnesium glyconate keeps my muscle cramps at bay. I know right away if I miss a day. I use 'Epsom-it' cream [OTC] [magnesium sulfate] to apply for quick relief of local pain. Watch out for Magnesium citrate as it is a laxative, too!
My chiropracter relieves my siatica with his adjustments.

2 ReactionsHow much magnesium should you take daily?
I have Magnesium oxide. Is this good for sciatica pain?
Depends on what the cause of the sciatica pain. I’m having a similar issue and going to PT currently. Although PT has been focusing on my right sciatica area and hip I find that manual therapy on my para-spinal muscles just below my rib cage has given me more relief than previously. This is my yearly tuneup with PT.

Having an awesome PT has helped immensely as I get older, especially the manipulations that get to the root of the pain.
My own PT moved from my neighborhood to a practice almost 20 miles away, and his replacement(s) are not as good. But I am dealing with spinal issues now that need his magic touch before I let anyone start jabbing needles in my spine. I just looked him up - and he is in a collaborative group with my ortho. Needless to say, I will be making an appointment this week for my tune-up!
